The initiative of the department of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, to have Digital Local Governance envisages that the Panchayat shall serve as a single window for providing through branchless banks e-Panchayat services. Rural Development activities like NREGS payments, SERP Services, financial services etc., at the level of Gram Panchayats

The objective is to facilitate availment of the above services in the ease and at their door step transparency and removing hassle of approaching different departments/offices to meet their requirements.
